Bailey Malone

Executive Director

Bailey Malone is the Executive Director of the CS Fund, a family foundation dedicated to creating an equitable democracy and a just transition to regenerative economies and food systems.

Through her leadership at CS Fund, Bailey supports communities, organizations, and movements making systemic change around the world. She oversees programs focused on securing constitutional rights and democratic governance, expanding food and territorial sovereignty, fighting false solutions posed by emerging technologies, and building social and ecological justice toward just transitions. Since becoming ED in 2017, Bailey has deepened CSF’s focus on accompanying grantees, organizing funders, and advocating for important issues. She has also facilitated organizational development and change across philanthropic programs, finance and investments, operations, staff management, and board governance to align with values of boldness, care, and learning. For a decade prior to becoming ED, Bailey managed CSF’s Rights and Governance program, focusing on issues of justice and democracy.

Bailey lives with her family in Petaluma, CA, where she advises local nonprofits and advocates within local government and public school systems. She loves playing tennis, watching baseball, and adventuring along the North Coast.
